THE EPICA AWARDS 2023 EXTENDS ITS ENTRY DEADLINE TO OCTOBER 20 DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND

This adjustment comes in response to significant interest from potential entrants still in the process of finalizing their submissions.

The original deadline was October 6. Editorial Director Mark Tungate commented, "We've noticed that many entrants are putting careful thought into their submissions. This extension allows for that extra time to polish work and to submit entries that truly reflect their best efforts."

This year's Epica Awards brings several innovative features to the table. For the first time, an AI will be part of the jury in an experimental role, offering its take on the creative ideas behind the entries. Dagmara Szulce, Global Executive Director of the International Advertising Association (IAA), will preside over the jury, bringing years of industry experience and an objective viewpoint to the role. Also notable is the introduction of an AI Craft category focusing on artificial intelligence in visual and video creation.

The Epica Awards stands alone in the creative industry as the only global competition where the judging panel consists exclusively of journalists. Trade press representatives from well-known publications like Adweek, Ad Age, Digiday, and Campaign provide comprehensive evaluations across all categories. In addition, the jury is enriched by expert jurors from mainstream titles such as ELLE, National Geographic, TechCrunch, Auto Plus and many more, who lend their specialized expertise by voting solely on categories directly related to their fields. This diverse and specialized panel ensures an impartial and nuanced assessment of all entries.

The extension of the entry deadline provides additional time for agencies, brands, and creators to participate in this unique global competition. Interested parties can consult the official entry procedure for more information.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place online on December 7, 2023, with full results to be published on December 8, 2023.
