THE 2018 EURO EFFIE AWARDS

Three Belarusian industry professionals on EACA Euro Effies 2018 jury
Chaired by Adrian Farina, Senior Vice President Marketing at Visa Europe, the first round judges will deliberate from 4 to 15 June to select the finalists for the second round on 28 June.

Three representatives from Belarus: Serge Yakovec, Head of department ATL-advertising at MTC (telecom company), Yuliya Daineko, Head of marketing department at Velcom (trelecom company) will join the first round jury to select this year's finalists, while Veronika Pisarenko, CEO at Forte Grey will join the second round panel.

The Euro Effies is an annual competition which rewards the most effective multi-national commercial communications campaigns in Europe and is the symbol of proven advertising effectiveness and a tribute to the client & agency partnership.

Association of Communication and Marketing Agencies of Belarus, is a member of EACA (European Association of Communications Agencies). ACMA is a member of the Council of National Associations of EACA, representing the interests of more than 2,500 agencies from 31 countries across Europe, including Belarus

The jury is composed of industry professionals, both the agency and client side, from 20 European countries. Each will bring their experience, knowledge and expertise to the selection of the finalist campaigns.

Judges look at a wide range of qualities in each campaign to determine whether it will advance to the second round and ultimately win an award. These qualities are summarized into four categories: Strategic Challenge, Creative Strategy, Bringing the Idea to Life and Effectiveness.

"I'm honoured to chair the Euro Effies this year. An effectiveness award is in my view the most important recognition that a marketing campaign can aspire to get", said Jury chair Farina.

The Euro Effies are organised by the EACA with the support of Google, The European Publishers' Council, WARC, Adforum.com, Procter & Gamble, Nielsen, creativebrief, FirstRental & Viva Xpress Logistics.
